Insight World 2007 Highlights
We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks for your participation in "Insight World 2007" held at Tokyo on Feb 14, 2007. "Insight World 2007" was our first biggest event to have more than 200 professionals as attendees. We introduced our development strategies, database tuning know-how and our new technologies.
First Keynote: Development Strategy
Ichiro Obata, Co-Founder & CTO of Insight Technology, announced the development strategy for Enterprise Database Risk Management. He also gave a vision for the next generation. Performance Insight ver6.0, and the real time demo for it_auditor, a comprehensive vulnerability scanning tool for operating systems and databases with security compliance reports.
In addition, Insight had invited J Raman Govindarajan, CEO, perfSYSTEMS, with whom Insight jointly developed it_auditor. Raman also gave an overview on the "Emerging Trends in Database Security".
Second Keynote: "Oracle Performance Management" "Past, Present and Future"
Anjo Kolk, CEO, Miracle Benelux & Owner aka OraPerf, gave the attendees an excellent presentation on Oracle Performance in Past, Present & Future by using the case study (one of the biggest system in Japan) and explained the concept of performance tuning, the tuning trends with examples of multi-core CPU 64bits, etc.,
