Oracle Corporation Japan and Insight Technology are going to develop a database-monitoring solution jointly to support enterprise class's internal control.
~ Achieving coordination between Oracle's ' Oracle Business Intelligence 10g' and Insight Technology's 'PISO' ~
Oracle Corporation Japan (Located at:Kioi-cho 4-1, Chiyoda-ku Tokyo, Japan, CEO: Masaaki Shintaku) and Insight Technology Inc. (Located at 2- 1- 52, Chigasaki , Chigasaki shi Kanagawa ken, Japan, CEO: Ichiro Obata, hereafter called Insight Technology) announced their business handshake of database monitoring field.
With the handshake between Oracle Corporation Japan 's business intelligence product ' Oracle Business Intelligence 10g' and Insight Technology's database security breach monitoring system ' PISO', it is possible to perform multi-faceted analysis and recording of the monitoring logs of the large database access collected by 'PISO' using the 'Oracle Business Intelligence 10g'. It supports internal control by certifying the safety of enterprise's information. In the future, all types of logs such as application server and the web servers' will be collected and development of a solution that helps iintegrated management of the entire IT system's monitoring is on the way.
This solution is the one that has been jointly developed by Oracle Corporation Japan and Insight Technology as an Oracle database monitoring solution. The release is scheduled after April.

About 'PISO'
PISO is a database security tool, which audits transactions in order to monitor against illegal or unnecessary data access from internal and external attacks such as SQL injections.
- All access to critical data is collected from memory directly with minimum performance penalty and stored in the dedicated server.
- PISO provides real-time monitoring, detection, and alert notification.
- PISO provides the mining search to help forensic analysis.
